Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak is a premium rich and smoky single malt from Yamazaki, the oldest distillery in Japan. This whisky started with the peat-smoking of malt from distillers in Islay, and was then matured in Spanish oak casks for four seasons. This maturation has added exceptional depth and richness to the spirit’s smoky character. This dark amber whisky opens gently with smoky notes on the nose and gives rich floral flavours of bitter orange marmalade and dark chocolate. Sophisticated smokiness enters the palate in harmony with notes of soft sweetness and faint citrus.
