The Macallan AERA Royal Black, a Taiwanese exclusive, has created a lot of excitement. Made from a blend of European and American oak casks, this whisky features Macallan's signature sherried style while moving away from solely sherry-matured whisky. The sherry casks, made from oak grown in Jerez and northern forests, undergo strict regulations and a four-year drying process by Macallan's Master of Wood, resulting in high-quality casks that greatly enhance the distillery's top-notch spirit.
