Blended by Chivas Brothers, Royal Salute was launched on the 2nd of June 1953 in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. Named after the traditional 21 gun salute this rich, classy blend is aged for a minimum of 21 years and is bottled in a Sapphire Blue Wade porcelain decanter and complete with a velvet dust jacket and presentation box. This rich and complex scotch blended whisky from Chivas is aged for 21 years in oak casks before bottling in handcrafted porcelain flagons. The Chivas Royal Salute 21 Year Old has been matured for 21 years in oak barrels, a traditional whisky with a beautifully refined flavour and robust, full body. A scotch unpredictable in nature, the notes run between lemon and tea to chocolate and coconut.
