Nikka Whisky Single Malt Yoichi Non-Peated Nikka Discovery 2021

This limited edition of Yoichi single malt was released in 2021 as the first edition of the “Nikka Discovery” series. An unpeated single malt from Nikka's Yoichi distillery, takes a turn from the distillery's usual smoky character. Aromas of malted barley, acacia honey, garden herbs and ripe fruit fill the nose, complemented by notes of lively citrus, vanilla, malted barleys, aniseed, cream and roasted hazelnuts throughout the palate. The nose is refined and balanced staying close to its malted barley roots revealing aromas of fruit and acacia honey. The palate is lively with an initial offering of citrus fruits followed by a vanilla flavour and roasted sequence. This is all culminated by a long and rich finish full of aniseed and creamy flavours.
