Nikka Whisky Single Malt Miyagikyo

Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt is a pure malt whisky distilled and aged in Miyagikyo distillery, the second distillery by Japanese whisky producers Nikka Whisky Distilling in Sendai, located in the north of Japan established in 1969. , he palate is characterised by its silky smoothness, with touches of fruit. Notes include pear, peach, lemon and orange zest, fresh flowers, honey, grainy malt, almond, cinnamon, clove, and a touch of caramel, followed by a finish which gives off a light burn. By using less peaty malt, this whisky is distilled in a pot still heated by indirect steam at a low temperature thus creating a lively whisky with medium volume. Miyagikyo Single Malt has an elegant fruitiness and a distinctive aroma with a strong Sherry cask influence.
