Mars Komagatake Single Malt Japanese Whisky - Yakushima Aging Bottled in 2021

Single Malt Komagatake Yakushima Aging is a single malt whisky distilled at the Mars Shinshu Distillery and aged in the Yakushima Aging Cellar, which was newly established in June 2016 on Yakushima Island, a World Natural Heritage Site. This is the 4th bottling of Komagatake Yakushima Ageing, made through a long journey from Shinshu distillery to Yakushima aging site. Surrounded by the beautiful nature of Yakushima Island, including cedar forests, rivers, the sea, the whisky developed unique flavour profiles of a slightly peated nature. It brings a light and fruity array of notes to the table, including notes of lemon zest, sliced apples, vanilla and a number of spices. A fantastically accomplished whisky from Mars that has impressed both fans and critics from around the world.
