A Tale of Cake - Some time ago, the Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill, found himself musing over how some of his most joyful memories came from cake — from the pineapple upside down cake his daughter made for his birthday to baking with his Granny in her kitchen. He devised this whisky to conjure the magic of a cake moment, finishing his favourite Glenmorangie Single Malt in the finest Tokaji dessert wine casks. The liquid is a rich copper, but the taste is pure technicolour, luscious, sweet and complex with multi-layered bursts of honey, white chocolate and fruits with a lilting hint of mint. As you might expect, it tastes incredible when enjoyed with actual cake.

A Tale of Forest - Lush and invitingly herbaceous, Glenmorangie A Tale of the Forest is Glenmorangie’s first whisky crafted from barley kilned with woodland botanicals. Inspired by the ever changing natural wonder he encounters while wandering in the forest near his home, Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation, Dr Bill Lumsden, brought back an ancient method of kilning barley with botanicals. In this case, he chose juniper berries, birch bark and heather flowers. Evoking the scents, sounds and sights of the forest, the single malt surrounds your senses with aromas of pine, juniper and coriander, laced with wisps of smoke. Then tastes of deep-green eucalyptus, lit by rays of bitter orange, drift to a slow, gently oaky finish. The whisky’s fragrant, wooded depths have inspired illustrator Pomme Chan to dream up her own fantastical forest. Celebrating the whisky’s flavours, her artwork is showcased on the whisky’s pack.

A Tale of Winter - Glenmorangie A Tale of Winter is the Distillery's 2021 limited edition. The concept was imagined by Dr. Bill, Creative Director of Glenmorangie Whiskey, with the idea of ​​transcribing the magical sensation of sitting in front of your fireplace as snow covers the outside landscape. In order to achieve this Glenmorangie has designed this 13 year old single malt with a final aging in Marsala Sicilian wine barrels. This 13-year-old whisky is initially matured in ex-Bourbon barrels creating a whisky with a slightly peppery mouthfeel, leading to a burst of sweet, nutty flavours, cocoa powder, red peppers, toffee and sweet barley malt.
