Charles Heidsieck Brut Reserve NV 75cl Champagne

At just 29 years of age, Charles-Camille Heidsieck decided to create his eponymous House in 1851. Despite being a heir – the Heidsiecks were one of the most respected families in the Champagne world – he decided to forge his own path and establish his own dynasty, eager to embark on his own entrepreneurial journey. 50% reserve varieties give an elegant nose of freshly baked brioche, roasted notes and ripe sun-kissed fruits of mango, apricot, mirabelle and plum as well as dried fruits, pistachio and almond. On the palate, a layer of creamy nougat, accompanied by fleshy fruits such as plums and cherries. The finish reveals amber and vanilla notes as well as a touch of praline. This champagne features a blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay and 20% Meunier, vinified in old Burgundy oak barrels.
