In 2020, Ardbeg Blaaack, aged in premium Pinot Noir wine casks from New Zealand, joined the lineup. Its name pays homage to Ardbeg's reputation as the unconventional outlier amidst Islay's traditional distilleries, with the Committee Release honoring loyal supporters from around the globe.

Featured in this dram are aromas of ripe apple, pear, and apricot  underpinned by oak and toasted barrel notes. On the palate you can expect to enjoy an array of flavours such as honey and vanilla, elegantly accented by roasted nuts. Soft caramel sweetness with a whisper of ginger spice offers layered complexity, enhanced by a velvety, oily texture. Prepare to savour a medium-long finish marked by residual toasted oak and sweet vanilla, leaving a creamy, buttery flavour that slowly fades.
