Arbikie Distillery is excited to announce its Third Limited Edition Highland Rye Single Grain Scotch Whisky, finished for one year in a Jamaican Rum barrel. It has a beautiful honey bronze colour and a multilayered aroma profile featuring ripe bananas, grilled pineapples, vanilla ice cream, roasted almonds and toasted sugar. The taste goes notes of stewed fruits, Demerara sugar, cocoa, grilled pineapples, blackcurrants and cloves. Highland Rye Release 3 is aged 5 years and matured in Charred American Oak barrels with a finish in Jamaican Rum barrels.
The crop variety features Arrantes Scottish Rye, Viscount Scottish Wheat and Odyssey Scottish Malted Barley and with only 470 bottles available globally, this is a truly unique gem of a whisky!
